Reward Offered

Luton AC is sorry to have to report that the clubs storage container at Woodland Lake was broken into sometime Sunday night on 19th Sept 2010. The club has lost alot of its vital equipment including the Jon Deere ride-on mower and trailer, Compactor (Wacka) plate, all the shovels, spades, picks and other hand tools a circular saw, angle grinders, 2 generators and Honda petrol water pump.

The container door was badly damaged to gain access however both of the car park gates and the fences were left secure which means a club key was probably used for access.

If anyone has any information about the theft please contact the club in confidence or Bedfordshire Police on 01234 841212 using crime reference number JD/39442/2010 as a lot of money has been lost as a result of this theft and the club has lost many of its essential tools.

The club is offering a £300 reward for information leading to a prosecution/recovery of the stolen equipment.
