Last season we received many of your fishing holiday snaps so please send them in again this year!

Stuart Phillips fished Beckerings Reservoir and landed four commons and one mirror with the largest being 16lb 10oz.
 
On the South Lagoon Gary Murray-Brooks managed commons of 20lb 8oz and 15lb 8oz plus an 8lb bream. Dan Verrall had tench of 8lb 2oz and 6lb with Ben Scott tempting a 15lb common.
 
On the adjacent North House Lake Charlie Chowles caught the Wanderer at 30lb+ along with a 28lb 8oz common. Elliot Archer landed Pecs at 27lb, Ian Dilley a 22lb 6oz mirror on a Starmer Baits Coconut Fish pop up, Mike Woodward an 18lb 3oz common, Carl Webster an 18lb mirror and commons of 15lb 4oz, 12lb 4oz and 11lb 6oz, Terry Bodsworth a 27lb 8oz common on a Cell pop up and Mick Pennington a 26lb common which fell to a Tutti bait.
 
Ashley Irvine banked a 6lb common from the River Ivel on surface fished bread.

LUTON AC MATCH REPORT FROM 1/7/12 INTER CLUB v TRING ANGLERS & AMPTHILL AC ON THE AYLESBURY ARM AT WILSTONE. LUTON CAME 1ST AND PRODUCED THE TOP ROD ON THE DAY I ORBELL 32-6 BREAM ON MAGGOT.

Ashley Irvine won the Starmer Baits photo competition for June with his 23lb 6oz common from North House Lake.
 
The winner of our July 2012 photo competition which closes on 31st July 2012 will receive a terrific Starmer Baits bait package. It is open to anyone (members and non members) submitting a digital photo taken on any Luton AC controlled water and it can be of absolutely anything eg a sunset on the canal, a nice fish, wildlife etc. The photos submitted cannot be over a month old, the judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result. We are pleased to announce a new photo competition purely for the predator angler sponsored by King of the Pond www.kingofthepond.com It is open to anyone submitting a digital photo of a pike, zander, chub, perch, eel or catfish caught from a Luton AC controlled water. The photos must have been taken on or after 1st June 2012 and the closing date for entries is 31st March 2013. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
