Roger Reeves fished Beckerings Reservoir and landed an 8lb tench on tip fished worm. Also at Beckerings Ian Fisher managed a 19lb 8oz mirror.

Peter Dempsey 20lb commonAs well as fishing Beckerings Ian Fisher fished North House Lake and slipped the net under a 19lb common. Peter Dempsey fished the same venue and tempted a 20lb common. Dave Smith managed a 26lb 14oz common, Matt Butler an 18lb mirror, Steve Coleman commons of 22lb 3oz, 20lb 3oz, 18lb 2oz and 18lb, Robert Langdon mirrors of 18lb 12oz, 17lb 12oz and 17lb 9oz along with commons of 18lb, 16lb 2oz and 14lb 12oz. Matty Parcell had a personal best common of 28lb 2oz from North House Lake.

On the adjacent South Lagoon Louise Pillar caught a 12lb 2oz common, Dan Verrall a 26lb 2oz mirror, Stephen McInnes a 10lb mirror, Tim Scarff a 6lb 5oz common, Paul Williams commons of 20lb 15oz and 9lb 6oz plus five bream to 5lb.

Nearby on the River Great Ouse Craig Coppin banked a 10lb common.

Youngsters Joshua Phillips and Charlotte Dee had fun at Barretts Mere with Charlotte catching a tench and Joshua a hard fighting Ghostie.

The winner of our July 2012 photo competition which closes on 31st July 2012 will receive a terrific Starmer Baits bait package. It is open to anyone (members and non members) submitting a digital photo taken on any Luton AC controlled water and it can be of absolutely anything eg a sunset on the canal, a nice fish, wildlife etc. The photos submitted cannot be over a month old, the judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result. We are pleased to announce a new photo competition purely for the predator angler sponsored by King of the Pond www.kingofthepond.com It is open to anyone submitting a digital photo of a pike, zander, chub, perch, eel or catfish caught from a Luton AC controlled water. The photos must have been taken on or after 1st June 2012 and the closing date for entries is 31st March 2013. The judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
