News Release

Saturday 30th October, 2010, found Tony Loveless of Chips4Fish at Warren Fishery, Stanford-le-Hope, in Essex where 6 Bailiffs and Club Members were training to microchip the Club’s specimen carp.

Members had sacked some of their competition match fish to provide plenty of fish for the lads to ID mark. The smallest being about 13lb but most in the 20 – 25lb weight range.

Warren Fishery are embarking on a project that will see all their specimen fish microchipped and indisputably identifiable.  The club will be weighing and recording all the fish as they are caught on an on-going basis so that they can build a picture of the amount and size of fish they have in each lake and how the individual fish are gaining weight which is in itself a good indicator as to the condition of the water and health of the fish in it.
