Catch report up to 10th September 2012, by Chris Newell

The Nar Valley Fisheries complex continues to fish well with some cracking Tench catches from Dougs Lake, some nice Bream and Tench from Johns Pond, and some superb Carp From Lake Geneva.

Gareth Baldry fished a clear spot adjacent to a weed bed to bank the latest thirty pound plus fish from the venue. Gareth’s magnificent Common Carp fell to a Mainline boilie fished over a small bed of particles and weighed in at 31lb 11oz.

All the night fishing permits have sold out for this season, and a waiting list is being formed for tickets for next season (applications in writing or via email please).

Hobbs Lake – It has been a great season so far at the new NVF Trout fishery, the’ catch and release’ and ‘removal’ policies are working very well and the Trout have silvered up and are extremely hard fighting. We have a winter permit available to fish from September 1st to December 31st. 2012 on sale now.
