Jon Taylor enjoyed a hectic afternoons sport on Heron Lake at Goose Green on the 24th October, Jon fishing the pole with pellet hook baits had a continuous supply bites and caught Skimmers, Roach, Crucians, Gudgeon, and Mirror Carp to around 1.5lb

Mark faired better than his father Mick, who went to the Rother in search of Chub but unfortunately never had a bite
Mark Dibble fished the Adur on the 26th October, Mark fishing the feeder sat it out despite the miserable weather, but the wait was worth it when his first bite of the session resulted in a superbly coloured 6lb 12oz Mirror carp, Mark followed this fish an 11lb 12oz Common, a Skimmer of about a pound & his last fish was an 11lb 9oz Common with just one eye! Mark says that anyone who is lucky enough to hook this distinctive Cyclops Carp is in for a treat; it fights as hard as it looks & then some!!

1st Pip Pranskus 3.47 kg (7-10-0) mainly good roach plus 1 tench and a couple of small perch to pole and caster, from peg 45. 2nd Glenn Riley 2.2 kg (4-14-0) 1 crucian plus roach and skimmers to pole and maggot, from peg 53. 3rd Barry Ginnaw 1.72 kg (3-13-0) mainly roach to pole and punched bread and maggot, from peg 50. 4th Barry Hawkes 1.65 kg (3-10-0) skimmers and roach to pole and maggot, from peg 35. 5th Graham Stubbs 1.55 kg (3-7-0) from peg 52. 6th Nigel Aldridge 1.49 kg (3-5-0) from peg 49.
