Catch Reports, Goose Green: Ray & Sandy Emery have been out and about again, fishing Pond 3 at Goose Green, Ray landed 2 carp to 6-0-0 and bream to 3-8-0, Sandy fishing an adjacent peg caught six carp to 8-0-0 and 3 bream to 4-0-0, all caught on waggler fished hard pellet.

Earlier in the week, the duo fished the same lake at the venue and Sandy caught 6 carp to 7-8-0, 2 bream to 3-8-0, a shedful of skimmers and a solitary crucian carp, Ray did not fair so well with a single bream of 4-0-0.

Steve & Heather fished a pleasant evening session on lake 3 at Goose Green. Steve landed a 7lb 4oz mirror carp, 1 lb 6oz bream, a few rudd at just under a 1 lb whilst Heather landed a nice 3 lb 9 oz bream. All were caught on the pole using meat

Work Parties

For the benefit of those who wish to come and help “the few”, we hold working parties at Goose Green every Saturday, starting at 0900hrs, all assistance gratefully accepted, even if you can only spare an hour – as the television advertisement states “Every Little Helps…..”

The training scheme offered by Pulborough AS is highly successful, with some of our former pupils now representing the Society in matches at both  regional and national level.

1st Glen Riley 15.1kg (33lb 5oz).

2nd Jamie Douglas (jnr) 9.55kg (21lb 1oz).

All catches mainly carp to feeder and maggot.
