Roxtons Fieldsports, bespoke sporting agents and the first company to offer Atlantic salmon fishing in Russia, are changing their Boeing 737 charter flights to Saturday from Friday for this year’s Russian fishing season.
An added benefit for clients travelling to the Kola Peninsula for the superlative fishing, the charter flies direct from Stansted, removing the necessity to overnight in Stockholm or Helsinki. It provides a dedicated check in desk, meaning no queues, FastTrack security, an upgraded business class meal each way and removes the risk of lost luggage.
Director of Fishing Charlie White, commented “With a flight time of under four hours, this added service has been a huge success for over five years and means that clients are not only able to have six full days’ fishing but can fish a Russian river on the same day as leaving home – a benefit which speaks for itself.”
Due to the closure of Murmansk airport every day apart from Saturdays for resurfacing work from 8th June onwards, Roxtons will be running its direct charter to Murmansk from London Stansted on Saturdays instead of Fridays. The dates will now be the 13th, 20th and 27th June 2009.
