Hardy & Greys Commercial Marketing Assistant, Scott Nellins, Consultant, John Horsey and Game Academy Member, Jeremy Lucas have all qualified for the England Loch Style team at the final stage of the competition.
Held at Bewl Water, Kent, the Bewl Water Loch Style International was fished by 100 top English Anglers who had each gone through qualifing rounds at various English reservoirs throughout 2008 to qualify for the Final.
The top 20 qualifying anglers from the event will now form the 2009 squad which will be split up into two teams; one for the Spring International, held at Chew Valley, the other for the Autumn International, held at the Lake of Mentieth.
Next years competitors will involve four teams representing the four home nations, the winner of the final being judged upon who catches the heaviest bag of fish.
Commenting on his first senior Loch Style international cap, Scott Nellins said;
“I am thrilled by not just my result, but to also have 2 other Hardy & Greys members in the team. Hopefully this is only the start of many succesful years with the England team. I want to emulate the successfull time I spent in the England youth team at Senior level.”
Hardy & Greys would like to wish the competitors the very best of luck in the final competiton.
