The increased stocking program had begun again for this year. Club and corporate day bookings are now being taken for 2009 season. All three lochans fished well again this week. Average weight was 3lb 2oz. Most trout were caught at a depth of 3-4 feet with an intermediate or floating line and a long leader.
TWO troutmasters specimens were caught this week: An 11lb rainbow by Mr King (Kincardine) in his 4 for 20lb using lures and an 8lb rainbow by Mr Duncan (Falkirk) in his 3 for 14lb 6oz using powerbait.
Best flies this week: Nomads, Yellow Dancer, Fritz Patterns, Bloodworm fished on an intermediate line. Best bait: Powerbait, Maggots and Worms.
