Another busy weekend at the fishery and it fished very well again this week for fly and bait anglers. The fishery is now open till 8pm 7 days per week for evening sessions. The closing time will gradually be extended to 10 pm as the summer goes on. Rainbow, Blue and Brown Trout featured amongst the catches. Average weight 3lb with many caught in the 4lb-6lb range.
ONE Red £50 Prize Tagged Trout was caught this week by lucky angler Mr Henderson (Alloa).
Best Flies this week: Black Tadpole, White Dancer, Damsel Nymph, Diawl Bach, Claret Buzzer. Best Bait: Green Powerbait, Worms, Maggots, Mepps, Tobys.
