MORE BIG FISH this week at Wellsfield. Many large doubles and fish in the 5lb to 10lb category were stocked and some were caught. The average weight 3lb+, with many fish in the 4lb – 6lb range.

One red tagged trout was caught this week by lucky angler Mr Thompson (Bridge of Allan) winning him £50. There are loads of red tagged trout (£50 prize) and white tagged trout (£500) in the lochans to be caught by lucky anglers.
Best flies this week were: Black & Green Fritz, Snathcers, Claret Damsel, Diawl Bach, Yellow Dancer, Brown Dog. Best bait: Power Bait, Taz’s, Mepp Spinners, Worms, Maggots.
