The increased stocking program continues at Wellsfield with many double figure specimens being stocked up to 16lb – 20lb in weight. All three ponds are fishing very well as the water is cooling down towards Autumn. The evening sessions are doing very well for Buzzer fishing. Rainbows, Blues and Brown Trout have featured amongst many bag limits.
Fish of the Week was a 17lb 2oz Rainbow Trout caught by Mr. J McGill (Glasgow) on an Orange Fritz. See photo below. Mr S Murray (Doune) also caught a 16lb 12oz Rainbow Trout on a Black & Green Snatcher.
