Over 325 fish were caught this week at Wellsfield and the num,ber of specimens being stocked and caught is still high. All 3 lochans fished very well again this week for fly and bait anglers. Many anglers bagged their fish limits when fishing the right flies or bait. Average trout size 3lb, with many fish in the 5lb – 8lb specimen category.
Best Flies this week: Montanas, Chzec Nymphs, PTN, Yellow Dancer, Pink Fritz, Cormorants. Best Bait: Yellow Floating Powerbait, Worms, Maggots, Taz’s.
ONE GREEN TAG WAS CAUGHT THIS WEEK: Mr. A Chisholm (Tullibody) caught a Green Tagged a Trout winning him a free 4hr permit.
