Club and corporate day bookings are now being taken for 2009 season.

The fishery is “ice free” this winter thanks to the ice prevention wave machines.

The fishery fished very well again this week with many anglers bagging their limits with some taking out second permits.  Most trout were caught at a depth of 4-6 feet with an intermediate line.

ONE double figure trout was landed this week: A 10lb rainbow by Mr Henderson (Stirling) from the bait pond in his catch of 3 trout for 16lb.

ONE Yellow £50 tagged trout was caught this week from the top fly pond by lucky angler Mr McClelland (Dunblane) in his 3 for 12lb.
 
Best flies this week: Nomads, Yellow Dancer, Fritz Patterns, Bloodworm fished on an intermediate line.  Best bait: Powerbait, Maggots and Worms.
