The fishery evening sessions are still ongoing and the fishery is open to 9pm, seven days a week.

Two specimens were caught this week, one by Mr Allan (Falkirk), who netted a nice 12lb 2oz rainbow from the middle fly pond in his 5 for 23lb using diawl bachs. Mr McGeorge (Glasgow) landed a fine 9lb 7oz rainbow from the top fly pond in his 3 for 19lb.

All 3 ponds are fishing very well at the moment and there is plenty of fish activity now that the air is cooling.  Water clarity is excellent.  Rainbows, Blues and Browns featured with some Tiger Trout and an average weight of just over 3lb.

One Yellow Prize £50- Tagged Trout was caught this week by lucky angler Mr Petrie (Falkirk) from the top fly pond.

Fly fishermen found a floating line with with daddies, damsel nymph, cats and buzzers best.  Bait anglers found rainbow powerbait, worms and maggots worked the best.
