Wellsfield Fishery is fishing very well at the moment with this milder weather for both fly fishers and bait anglers.
The fishery is open 7 days, 8am – 5pm. Many anglers caught their fish limits, and we are stocking the lochans well to meet demand.

One Red Tagged £50 Trout was caught by lucky angler G Watson (Stirling) from the top fly pond on a Silver Sparkler lure in his bag of 5 fish for 15lb.
Most fly fishers caught fish using floating lines or slow intermediate lines. Best flies this week: Ally McCoist Fritz, Yellow Dancer, Black/Green Fritz, GH Damsel, Buzzers, fished with a floating lines and long leaders.
