All 3 lochans are fishing very well for fly and bait fishing due to the increased fish stocking program. Many Many angler bagged their fish limits with an average weight of 3lb, with many 4lb-5lb trout in the returns. Rainbows, Blues and Brown Trout featured amongst the catches.
Attention Anglers: All fishery ponds will receive a surprise additional bonus stocking mid-week which will be over and above the current stocking of 4 times per week!
The fishery is open 7 days per week 8am till 9pm for fly and bait fishing. Parent & Child Permits and Junior Angler permits are available throughout the school summer holidays for fly, bait and spinning.
Fish of the week was a 9lb 12oz Rainbow Trout caught by C Perry (Alloa) using fly in his bag of 5 fish for 21lb 8oz (see photo below).
