All 3 lochans are fishing very well for fly and bait fishing. Rainbows, Blues and Brown Trout featured amongst the catches. The evening sessions continue 7 days per week 8am till 9pm for fly and bait fishing.
Fish of the week was a 12lb Rainbow Trout caught by Mr. D Jack (Falkirk) from the middle fly pond – Lochan Uaithne in his bag of 4 trout for 21lb.
Best flies this week: Black Nomad, Hares Ear Nymph, Black Hopper, HH Damsel Nymph, Epoxy Buzzers, Diawl Bachs, CDC’s and Traditional Wet Flies. Best Baits: Maggots, Worms and Small Mepps.
