A good steady week fishing at Wellsfield Trout Fishery, Denny this week for both fly fishing and bait fishing anglers.
The fishery is open 8am – 5pm 7 days a week. Autumn is in full bloom at the farm at the moment and the views and wildlife are well worth a visit.
There is a very good head of fish in all the lochans at the moment, we are stocking four times per week and the water temperatures are excellent for fish feeding activity.

ONE Red Tagged £50 Prize Trout were caught this week, by lucky angler R Wallace (Stirling) using fly.
Most fly fishers caught fish using floating lines or sink tips. Best flies this week: Yellow Dancer, Black/Green Nomad, Fry Imitations, HH Damsel, Diawl Bachs, Buzzers, fished with a floating lines and long leaders.
