All three lochans are fishing well for both fly and bait anglers with rainbows and blue trout featuring amongst the catches The average trout weight was 3lb with 3 trout per angler on average.   

All anglers should note that club bookings are now being taken for 2008 season.  The fishery is open for fly and bait fishing 7 days per week from 8am till 5pm.

Best flies this week: Black & Green Fritz, Spanflex Bloodworm, Montanas, Mini Cats.  Best bait: Powerbait, Spinners and Maggots.

Three specimen trout were caught this week. Mr McGee (Airdrie) landed a cracking 10lb 9oz rainbow trout in his 3 for 16lb 9oz from the top fly pond.  Mr Liddle (Falkirk) landed a nice 10lb rainbow from the bait pond using a Mep Spinner in his 4 for 22lb.
 
One Yellow Prize Tagged Trout was caught this week from the top fly pond by lucky angler Mr Davidson (Falkirk) using buzzer winning him £50.
