All 3 lochans are fishing very well for fly and bait fishing due to the increased fish stocking program. The fishery is currently stocked 4 times per week. Rainbows, Blues and Brown Trout featured amongst the catches.
The fishery is open 7 days per week 8am till 9pm for fly and bait fishing. Parent & Child Permits and Junior Angler permits are available throughout the school summer holidays.
Fish of the week was a 10lb Rainbow Trout caught by M McManus (Falkirk) from the bait pond in his bag of 3 trout for 16lb. W Nicol (Kincardine) caught a £50 Prize Red Tagged 4lb Rainbow Trout from the top fly pond on a Cormorant lure.
Best flies this week: Black/Green Fritz, Claret Hopper, GH Damsel Nymph, Muddlers, Orange Cheeked Buzzer, Diawl Bachs, Bibio. Best Baits: Maggots, Worms and Small Tobies.
