All three lochans fished well this week. The seasonal autumn weather conditions has provided great sport for fly and bait fishers. Many anglers bagger their fish limits catching Rainbow Trout, Blue Trout and Brown Trout. The average weight was just over 3lb per fish.
Best flies: Mini-Lures, Montana Nymphs, Black Tadpole, Olive Damsel, Sparklers, Diawl Bachs, Buzzers on a long leader or intermediate tip. Best Baits: Ledgered Worms, Floated Maggots, Small Mepps spinners.
J Lowe (Stirling) caught a 14lb Rainbow Trout from the Top Lochan on a Yellow Bunny Leech lure, and a few big fish were reported lost again this week!
1 Red £50 Prize Tag was caught this week by lucky angler M Adam (Larbert).
