All 3 lochans are fishing very well for fly and bait fishing again this week depending on weather conditions and tactics. Many anglers caught their fish limits with an average weight of 3lb. Rainbows, Blues and Brown Trout featured amongst the catches.
The fishery is still open 7 days per week 8am till 9pm for fly and bait fishing.
FISH OF THE WEEK was a 13lb 8oz Rainbow Trout caught by M Barker (Stirling) on Sunday.
One RED TAGGED £50 Prize Trout was caught by lucky angler I Gibson (Bathgate) from the bait using powerbait pond in his bag of 4 fish for 12lb.
Best flies this week: Snatchers, Black/Green Fritz, Yellow Dancer, Hoppers, GH Damsel Nymph, Cormorant, Epoxy Buzzers, Diawl Bachs. Best Baits: Maggots, Worms and Small Mepps.
