World Carp Classic has launched its new site with vastly improved user interface.
The World Carp Classic, the biggest and most prestigious tournament in the history of carp angling, has just launched a brand new interactive website. The new site, www.worldcarpclassic.com, is designed with its audience in mind….. carp anglers.
The new website offers more personal features to anglers with the new look forum, blogs and customizable individual profiles to enable anglers to keep right up to date with what’s going on and who’s doing what.
A personal blog from tournament director, Ross Honey with the latest progress from HQ and interesting anglers’ blogs from Andy Chambers and Leon Hoogendijk are easy to find on the front page. In addition there are news articles by contestants, sponsors, agents and marshals, all of which contribute towards keeping the site buzzing with first-hand experiences of the event from different points of view and what going on in the angling world. The site also offers some wonderful, awe-inspiring photographs of the lakes used previously by the World Carp Classic, everything from trophy shots to magnificent panoramic sunsets can be found in the galleries.
The video section is up and running at full speed with an array of videos from World Carp Classic events, carp angling in general and, some classic, funny fishing videos. It makes for a great place to catch up on anything you may have missed or just to spend a little time relaxing and have a laugh. Here you can also view the promo video for the 2008 event, which is now available on DVD in the shop. In addition you can upload videos that you have captured and want to share with everyone on the site. The new website is designed so that everyone can have an input to make it more interesting and informative for everyone involved.
