I feel a bit like a mad scientist when I unzip the Carp Kinetics CoolBait Glug & Boilie Bag. Inside, you can store all manner of glugged baits and various paraphernalia. It’s fantastic; never again will you say, “I ran out of options”. You can have just about everything you need in one handy bag.
The bag itself is about 36cm long, 20cm wide and 22cm tall. It has two side pockets and carrying straps that can velcro together.
Inside, the bag is insulated (hence the ‘Coolbait’ name) and consists of two layers, with a divider in between.
As you’ll see from the photo, each layer is, in fact, a tray with divisions to accommodate eight pots (sixteen in total). Eight plastic tubs are provided and, to be honest, they were better quality than I thought they would be, with a rubber washer in the lids to create a good seal. That’s not something I’ve seen in cheap pots before.
The trays themselves have carrying handles and lift straight out, so that you can do all your fiddling around on the bank (or on your bivvy table, etc.). They are also well padded, helping to ensure that your baits stay in tip-top condition.
If you’re an angler who likes to try a variety of baits, then I can see this appealing to you. You can keep everything in one place and, because it’s insulated, you can store your frozen baits in there, alongside your shelflife and imitation baits.
And, at just £20, I think it represents good value for money. Thoroughly recommended.
