Granted this isn’t your everyday angling product, but for the many anglers out there who do suffer from dry, chapped or sore skin, then Lotil cream could be just the job. Lotil is basically a rehydrating moisturising cream which you can apply to both prevent and cure dry hands and its anti bacterial properties will help reduce blemishes whilst creating a barrier to help fight infection to any broken skin.

There are various products available, everything from foot scrubs through to lip cream. Lotil gave me a sample of their cream for dry skin relief and I must say I was very impressed with it. I’ve been doing an awful lot of work on the house recently in preparation for our new arrival; pulling down walls, pulling up floors, fitting a bathroom, plastering, tiling and laying floors… nightmare! It’s no surprise that my hands have taken a bit of a battering throughout and I’ve been using the Lotil cream each night when I’ve finished up and must say that it’s made a big difference.

WHEN YOU CLICK ON LINKS TO VARIOUS MERCHANTS ON THIS SITE AND MAKE A PURCHASE, THIS CAN RESULT IN THIS SITE EARNING A COMMISSION. AFFILIATE PROGRAMS AND AFFILIATIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE EBAY PARTNER NETWORK AND AMAZON

You can pick up Lotil products in most Boots stores and selected independent Chemists, and with prices starting at just £1.99 they won’t break the bank. You can get various pack sizes but if looking to use when you are out fishing I would recommend the 30ml (£1.99) or 50ml (£2.99) tubes which will fit neatly into your pocket or tackle box.
