I’m a keen fan of Stiff-Rigs, more so with the Pop-up Stiff-Rig, which I use most of the time.  As those of you who use Stiff-Rigs will know, Stiff-Rigs have to be kept straight for them to work effectively.

Fishrite have two purpose made Stiff-Rig Wallets out on the market, which are neat, light, robust and well finished.  In this review I’ll be looking at the shorter of the two Stiff-Rig Wallets, measuring 205mm (8ins) long by 140mm (5½ins) wide, and taking Hook-links up to 150mm (6ins) in length.

Once opened using the sturdy zip you have two high-density foam boards with a stainless bar across the top of each one for the hook to hold.

With the hook in place the hook-link can then be tensioned and firmly held in place using the pins provided.

Personally I like to use very short Pop-Up Stiff-Rigs making the short Stiff-Rig Wallet perfect for my needs.

So far I’m very pleased with the Fishrite Stiff-Rig Wallet and will use it extensively over the next few seasons.

The Fishrite Stiff-Rig Wallet is available from Fishrite stockists at a cost of £11.99.
