Flicking through the pages of Angler’s Mail this week, I noticed that Shimano have released a limited edition of the 5000RE baitrunner reel. It’s not just carp anglers, who love this perfectly-sized smaller reel for surface fishing, who are rushing out to buy it, though, as the 5000-size is seen by many as the perfect tench and barbel reel!
As a limited edition, this won’t be about for long, so it’s well worth taking a look to see if you can pick one up soon.
The RRP appears to be £89.99, but some shops, like www.trevs-tackle.com are knocking them out at £54.99.
