Do You Know Anything About This Reel?

We recently received the following email from Canada. If you can help at all, please click here to respond on the thread about this reel in our forums.

Dear Sirs

I have  found a centre pin reel in my late father's fishing gear and I wonder if you can tell me anything about it?

I have sent you a picture of it with name and model - any info would be munch appricated. 

On the pic it says Farlow & Co.  Barrett Spinning Reel   Holdfast
