Can You Identify This Reel?

We received the following images from Alan. Do you recognise this reel? If so, please get in touch.

Here's what Alan had to say:

"I've an old closed face reel that is quite interesting. No-one seems to know anything about it. It may be fron Europe or Russia.  There is no name on it it appears to be made from a nylon type of material, very light it is used under the rod not on the top. Diameter of the reel is 3". It looks really old - impossible to tell."
