Celebrity angler dons the famous red shirt…

It’s rare for an angler to get into the mainstream news. Apart from the occasional big fish story, anglers are often overlooked as ‘sportsmen’. This wasn’t the case for one well-known fisherman…

In aid of East Africa Famine Appeal, Angler’s Mail writer John Bailey donned the red shirt and played in front of 55,000 fans at Parkhead, and an audience of millions on ITV.
