Bright and breezy after heavy morning rain. 8ºC. River up a tad and carrying a bit of colour.

18 Grayling; 5 over 1lb to 1lb 6oz. 1 Trout.

Traditional Christmas Eve session to empty the bait fridge so that it can be used as a 'Christmas overflow'. Usual catch a couple and move on tactics - didn't have more than 3 grayling from any one spot.
