Once a month i good to London on work and park in the same street about half a mile from the train station.
As i am normally in a rush and it is 06:00 in the morning i did not see that the street in question had had parking restriction inposed on it i.e residents parking only from 18:00 to 08:00
On my return i find that i had a parking ticket which i duly paid on time.
Sometime later i receive a letter indicating that i have not paid the fine and thus i now owed them £70. Sent off my credit card statement indicating that i had paid them.
I have now received a letter saying that i was issued with Two parking tickets and it is the second one that i have not paid.
How do i stand in that when i arrived at my car there was clearly only One ticket stuck to my windscreen and thus i paid only One fine.
I am going to appeal to the Independant Adjudicators.
I need to go back to the seen and check what time you can park, as both the tickets where issued at 09:15.
Anyone know where i stand on this, as i am rather peved off.
