helo there kestrel ive never done it my self but i beleive that different boilies work differently in different lakes. you should try to expiriment with your bait and if they work well than you should know if you should continue using that bait. i usily have good faith in boilies, but ive never made my own if you found it difficult to use your own that try using ready made ones from a tackle shop see which one works best for you tight lines mike finlay

thynks smalltincup tht will help alot i happen to no tht last summer there was a lot of good fish being caught the lake record is 26lb the carp like to eat bread and sweetcorn as well as lunchen meat and pellets theres no ground bait other than natruals there a few island in the middle of the lake and is fished heavliy. and yes the lake has been fishing well this year. thnks smalltincup

well tony just as carphead100 uses i use a tool box as well but if your a fisher men that takes all his tackle fishing then you should probally use a proper tackle box or a bigger tool box it depends on how much you want to spend. i have about two small tool boxs one to keep spare stuff in and one to put all my gear in when i go fishing and the way i store more rigs are in the plastic wallets that you buy hooks in i wrap it around my fishings so it forms a circle shape then gentaly put it in tight lines mike finlay

hi egbert the only good place in that area i've herd of is bury hill but i don't no wot type of lake your looking for are you after a big lake one of a type that you catapult ground bait use bite alarms or a small lake

hi all i was watching carp crew the other night and they were using baits from supermarkets one was useing different meat the other was using peanuts and the peanuts were most sucsessfull i was supprised as peaple use lunchen meat to catch carp
