Cut and paste from the Facebook page   Bas half the clowns are as daft as you , nobody actually  nobody knows what is happening apart from they all think this government will repeat itself and sell the fishermen down the river Michael ? Gove and Boris ? Johnson two billy liars will sell them out it’s coming so brace yourself .

Boris how long before the cards come crashing down . ??????

off you go then, get on your soap box  and tell them what you think of them, i'll be along in the morning to have a look.

or would you like me to pass on your compliments, link to your facebook page as well? shall i also link it to the boat angling facebook page you advertise on?

TAT, the angling trust will love you, they advocate the divide between commercials and anglers and support slating the industry as much as they can, you would do very well as a member, you could even apply to be an ambassador for the sport, i can foresee rapid promotion for you.

So bas let’s get something straight what happening with bass any ideas please tell me anything .

80% of under 10s fish on lobsters shellfish with majority going to the EU getting top dollar for there produce brexit won’t make slightest bit of difference to them what it can do is put   them out of business and that is  a real possibility did You see the guy the Cornish  Fishman on the  programme on bbc 2 fishing program he said exactly that .

Quotas sold to  fishermen the big boys in industry if after 2020 they allocated any new quota they will sell it again guaranteed to big boys in the industry  and it’s our own government who distribute our quota to the over 10 s  it is not the EU it is our own government who who disadvantages the under 10s with quota allocated not the EU .

And will this government stop using quotas as commodity because any new quotas allocated will almost certainly end up in the hands of the big boys and with our great brexit where is all this fish going to come from to regenerate all out coastal communities it’s ****s .

What could happen a free for all could swamp our coastline with less fish there than there is now that’s probably what will really happen with brexit look up prosecutions for over quota by U.K. fishermen doesn’t read pretty so you think it’s plain sailing with brexit your dreaming .it could end far worse for charter boats you keep screaming about.

And again what’s going to happen with bass you seem to knowing all  which is ****s so please tell me will it be a free for all  or what  .

    ohhh my gaaaawwwweddd

  3. i'm a follower phone what influence do i have as a bottom of the pile angler. Now cod with his charter boat business could write emails day in day out to the fisheries minister, m p's defra, the mmo seeking to improve his lot and the lot of the charter boat industry with his 150% offer of support, will he?

I'm in favour of do nothing, even if the e u come back at a later stage and ask nicely if their boats can come in the u k will be in a stronger position to say, we have to look after our chaps and the fish stocks first and foremost, including the charter boat industry.

Same as in the channel isles, the london agreement is going, that will really 'p' the dutch and the french off, As soon as the c f p transition period is over those boats must fish out at 12 mile minimum and that will help the bass breeding stocks. The c f p are also doing a good job in clearing out the stocks, no cod in the channel and at some stage questions will be asked, is the c f p doing a job on the fish stocks or are they just incompetent.

One of two arguments the remainiaks have used for the last 3 years plus, one about the small gdp commercial fishermen attracts, that's easy to counter. The next one is that the u k fishermen sold their quota, or some of it. Apart from the fact that the u k guys did sell quota, the e u issues u k interests 13%, so in a sense, that figure is of no consequence in any event re the bigger picture. However today, i have learned from commercial guys there was court cases following the issuing of quota in particular by the mmo where e u interests took some to the court of human rights at the time and insisted on a fair playing field. Subsequently larger e u pelagic boats got their feet under the table in u k waters. I'm researching that one.

For cod, go look on the commercial fishing facebook page and you will also read it. Are they bullshining as you would claim the news papers are or is there meat on the bone.

the e u is holding a vote next week to decide what deals they are going to allow the u k. one of the proposals is to disallow any bilateral trade deals, i kid you not

quote: A draft copy of the motion, seen by this publication, states that any future deal must “avoid a proliferation of bilateral agreements and the shortcomings which characterise the EU’s relationship with Switzerland”.

We are inundated with southern anglers  complaining how bad the fishing is now on south coast , our fishing has dropped off substantially compared to 5 years ago  since dredging went mad off this coast thank god we have ground so rough  near shore  they can’t dredge  there and  you think they don’t do any damage well it’s not what we are hearing of the anglers coming north .

Have  you actually caught a cod this winter bas now be honest now no porkys  , you will never see cod fishing again in numbers in  the Channel till the practice that’s destroys there habitat is severed regulated brexit won’t bring it back that’s a fantasy island pie in the sky and bullshit baffles brains and there is plenty of it coming out of number 10 .

well there's anglers then there's anglers aren't there.

Why have you come to the conclusion that there is no cod in the channel due to the draggers, you do realise just how stupid that comment is, show us the facts to back up your assuming assumption. There are no  amounts of cod in the channel and yes i haven't caught one. There has been no cod in the channel of note for the last 4-5 years, summer or winter, fact. O K, you can quote me on that. One wet fish shop top end of the channel had fresh cod roe on it's counter, 3 weeks ago, that was what was left of 3, 27lb ders they caught in their nets. I do know where they came from and where they were headed before they were hauled up. It wasn't the draggers fault btw, work that one out.

Last night i had a look at live a i s traffic, do you? there were at least a dozen french boats on the varne, fishing. There was a dutch fisheries vessel checking their boats between 6-12 mile off hastings yesterday and last night, do you want to know why? I won't bother telling you as it will be straight over your head.

the french have 84%  quota in the channel for cod, have done for many years, at present along with the bass the stocks are depleted. You work out why.  That's all the channel, western approaches and Biscay . the french government, e u,  are allowing the big boats to continue taking them offshore at Biscay at the moment, don't know why.

As for the anglers, no cod to take and no bass, yes it's shiet, who's the management i have to ask, work that one out, your not that thick that you can't, or won't? If they were any good they would go along with the skippers on the south coast and target other species, unlike your little bubble, there is more than targeting codling.

Work this out, plenty of bream has been for the last three years, they have a habitat the same as the cod. penny clicked yet? Plenty of habitat for the bass, yet they are depleted, why? Shall i tell you? Do you want to know why even?

You don't care, never have, as long as your bubble isn't burst. 150% support, yer right.

you don't care for the pensioners and poor people you  proclaim are being hammered by the government, you never have. See through you the same as  a glass window.

here's the up to date facts along with reality you choose to ignore with your miserable bubble of doom and gloom for all but your hated torys and the rich, note the cost of a barrel of oil at the moment, the scottish wasp chewer won't get fat on it.  adsa diesel 124.00 btw.

The annual inflation rate in the United Kingdom was at 1.7 percent in September 2019, unchanged from the previous month and slightly below market expectations of 1.8 percent. It remained the lowest inflation rate since December 2016, amid a slowdown in cost of transport, as fuel prices dropped the most since August 2016.

The WASPI campaign supports the principle of equalisation of the state pension age, but says it does not agree with the way in which the changes were implemented.

Campaigners have said that “many women” and their families are suffering huge financial difficulties, claiming this is because of the way inwhich the changes in the 1995 and 2011 Pension acts

Now bas crack on don’t hold back !!’

Coastal communities  massive boost promised on first day of Boris ? Johnson’s job ?  bas where is it where is the breakdown on it you have dodged this every single time I have presented this  to you it’s rubbish utter rubbish exactly the same as your link to Nisan THEY MIGHT close there Barcelona  plant etc etc etc now if I was Nissan employee I would be very wary of what awaits with  Brexit  it is very likely to  come and bite you up backside just when least expect it .

No reply from you on the skippers in the clip they do  expect Johnson to sell them down the river do you think they might know a little bit more than you the vibes they are getting Tory sellout AGAIN yes it’s real and could be could be coming  your way very soon

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has pledged his support for ‘forgotten’ seaside communities – on his first day in the job.? ?

    https://www.coastalcommunities.co.uk/latest-news/boris-johnson-pledges-support-for-seaside-towns/

what would you like me you tell you, in your dreams perhaps. nissan has announced it will remain in the u k, to the detriment to some euro plants perhaps, you can live with that can't you?

Boris has repeatedly stated that there will be no trade offs re the u k's fish stocks, live with that as well sport.  write to your mp if you have a fisheries concern, i did.

what link have you provided this time, something relevant, have you read it, perhaps you can confirm.

Poor old germany from an EU document! this is the reason the EU desperatly wants our waters!

"As the most important export markets for UK are those of the Union, British exporters might be
negatively affected by Brexit (Figure 24). In contrast, UK sources fish from a diversity of markets,
particularly from Iceland and China. Thus, the UK market might not suffer a major distress after Brexit
(Figure 25). The Union exporter sector, in particular, those of Germany, Sweden and Denmark will be
    more affected by Brexit. 4.7.2"

NoTE might be negatively effected by brexit!! Wheras germany will be (an assumption followed by a definate )Looks like the master race is instructing their minions in the EU proletariat to cheat us out of our fishing under any excuse and knowing our governments over the last 70 years have gone soft i predict they will get some as boris probably isnt aware (or doesnt care just wanting an easy transition) how desperate they are to get it and use it as a lever to get more than we give away

Forgot link note NOT to newspapers and their opinion but the EU itself

errrrmmmmm 100 pages, who would you like to imprison for a night or two to read this lot . pssst i got to page 15 and had to have a beer. The pages i read didn't bode well for any fishery. and there's still a smell around the e u management when it comes to discard and unregulated, unrecorded fish landings.

That was published a year ago, didn't the fact that it said Theresa May as PM give you a clue? Did you think that 4th Feb meant it was published tomorrow? Did you not bother to read it as usual, relying on a social media 'friend' to feed you the 'truth'? Or did you hastily need to post something to try and cover up a non story that you had just deleted?

    John.

ahhhhh, not a non story, but in fact true, this was what was deleted, don't know if this was the exact link but the detail within is correct. While tory bashing he didn't bother to check the date within. it mentions a change to the pensions act and that was in 2007.Now the important piece about that, it was when blair was on the move and brown took over as prime minister. It was therefore under a labour government that the pension allowance was removed. That was during the labour governments 5 billion pound per year private pensions robbery, but before the gold sell off btw. :whistling::whistling::fishing1:

not all is lost though, this horrible nasty administration we have now has made provision to replace this payment with something else. And cod can go find that out, it is plain to see .

Brexit could be the biggest home goal to majority of the fishing industry because they can’t export it and the home market will collapse completely.

“The price of fish and shellfish is now is high because we’re exporting our sole, our hake, our monk, haddock, it’s going overseas and there's a competitive market overseas… if that door closes, or even half closes... it will upset the balance and prices will tumble.

People think brexit is there savour the complete opposite is a real factor boats tied up going bankrupt fish and shellfish prices crash oh yes it’s reality time will soon be here not many poor fishermen while we are in the EU .Infact I don’t know any commercial fishermen who are but there very soon could be with brexit .

Brexit It’s could be like getting all dressed up on a Saturday night with nowhere to go .If market prices collapse fishermen are doomed they will be ruined overheads boat loans fuel etc etc etc no price it’s game over. A Union Jack flag or a T-shirt  a  tea towel with an idiot on it ? won’t pay the bills yes reality time is fast approaching so faster your seat belts gentleman  a very nasty  car crash could be imminent the banks wait  for nobody only Farage he is laughing all the way to the bank .
