  1. Sorry Peter but HARES???? NOT nice to shoot hares mate in my book!!! They look too nice!!
  2. ERM yes I choose the size of picture to shrink to?? It has standard sizes I.E. Half and quarter but the pictures all seem to resize almost as large as a thumbnail and certainly come out OK at the final shoot out! I got this from Newt myself and it is of course Free BUT you can make small donation if you so require. I did after 5 years of almost constant use!! And the guy was V|VERY helpful; as well with a problem I did have and was only too happy to help out"! Excellent thing!!
  3. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/trampoline-13-fo...674783299731049
  4. And I mean a WINCH but one I am able to afford!! Going to fit it to my NEW recovery truck (An Iveco 59/12 beavertail!!) But times is hard and money is tight!! Anyone anything they need to raise a bit of money on please??
  5. I am myself simply beside myself AND HE is also outraged too!
  6. COULD be the ECC??? Best bit is I was ADVISED by Jed to use the French site to start the complaint!! And the foreword to the French site EXPLICITLY forbids complaints from any other country?? Well that is SO French 'aint it Cory!!
  7. Acer's for me EVERY time!! What at around £30 each for a dual core processor!! Cannot beat them with a BIG stick!! On the other hand bought a Compaq/HP presario and had to replace the keyboard after 3 months of the wife using it and she ALWAYS uses the mouse if possible!! Had TWO 700's and apart from a rubbish battery (They ARE second hand!) Charger cost me £15 and battery £14 form HK!!
  8. I contacted the CAB recently after a Google search as I have been RIPPED off again and am NOW getting fed up! Anyway this young lad said he was into his FIRST day of a new job working for a NEW Government Department who had taken over all the nasty end of the CAB?! So I spoke to him at great length and I KNOW I wrote it all down! BUT the only thing I can find is a letter to the company in question BUT Quoting what he told me to! http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1982/29 Makes VERY interesting reading and does ALL I need it to. Basically the company I used sent a courier to collect a laptop. They said it was NEVER collected yet the lass who SENT it claimed to have the TWELVE digit number for it!! NOT a ten or fifteen as some do! BUT twelve as you do! NOW the Girl will not speak to me and the Father is one of those people if his wife was stabbed by some miscreant he would forgive them and say NOTHING untoward to the police!! Sorry but a complete knobhead to me! Anyway, to get anything back I have to place silly buggers with the company I setup the contract with. I had a letter posted Recorded delivery from the UK and it WAS signed for!! BUT As I do NOT know the company?? Can anyone advise if they might know who it is who took over?? And also anyone able to tell me what to do next without it costing me a KINGS ransom!!
  9. Wanna try opening the last one and then WATCH the first!! Fishing for the wild trout!! The background is AMAZING!!!
  10. Right, ignore anything previously said (WITH great reluctance??LOL) Download and install IRFANVIEW. Install same and look at the THIRD name across from the top bar IMAGE. Then go to the 9th thing down RESIZE/RESAMPLE. (This is after you have opened a suitable picture in IRFANVIEW!!! (Using the OPEN command as you would ANY programme!) Then re-size to whatever it says it has to be, AVATAR is around 120x90?? So put those pictures whatever they may be into the boxes. And press OK. THEN save the picture you have by going to the third little picture under the tool bar (Looks like a FILM strip) Click and it asks you ALLSORTS!! But I save ALL mine to the desktop and because bit is easier to see it and then move to wherever I want OK? So desktop and save as a !ST box is the FILE name. In my case PICTURE OF ME AS A BABY!! Then the FILE sort you NEED to save as for you if it is an Avatar on the second box it allows you via a drop down box to save as? It also allows you to alter date and time. DO NOT WORRY about these unless like me you want to show you as a child three days ago??! And VOILA!!! The AVATAR file is saved to (In my case the desktop) and then point the whatever to the desktop file and BINGO!!! Chris
  11. And we get Black Puddings in France too! (Only they call it something else!) Summat Noire!!
  12. Just found this in a Trade Magazine I subscribe to (MAY BE WRONG PLACE?) But reckoned this is where it would get most airing for all. Apparently the Obama Administration are about to spend the not small sum of $51M to stop Asian Carp getting into the Great Lakes?? They have apparently already started on the Silver Carp and Big head Carp and although the fish predominantly eat ONLY Plankton the moves are bloody great big ones! IF I get a url for the copy I have I will post it. Meantime if ANYONE wants copy of the page I will happily post it to them? PM me with an address please. (Great Lakes Anglers especially!)
  13. Ebay is your best bet! Budge got ALL the good ones!!
  14. OK I have decided the telephone for me is above. BUT being in France it is hard enough to speak let alone LEARN the lingo!! And Mobiles it is worse (If that is possible?) then the UK!! Anyway anyone know (And I HAVE been told it is possible!) How does one go about swapping the free (LOL) minutes one buys from the UK to France so that I can ring the UK free OR a French Number whilst on a UK contract telephone?? I do know a friend is on a Vodafone Tariff BUT he has had this since he opened the account around 10 years ago, NEVER upgrades his phone! Has had yo have it exchanged once because it broke!! And he gets ALL his free minutes not only rolled up BUT can take them anywhere in the world! BUT I have asked and this tariff has supposedly been extinguished ages ago?? I am not so sure myself as an O2 rep told me THEY do something VERY similar for £2.50 extra a month and I KNOW that T-Mobile used to do it and also Orange do it with one of there Tariffs? Monkey is it?? Or could be bloody meerkat! ANYONE got any help please?? NOT the contract I am worried about, it is the minutes first and price second.
  15. Worms, take it from one who knows, Rule one DO NOT argue a point with Dave. Rule two see rule one!
  16. But only ONE item in the Category "Car Parts" which is actually two anyway and guess sh1t first and yes you got it WHEELS!!! Which leads me to ask ANYONE want a set of £800 + tyres to fit a Espace mk2 (4 holes) for there car??) I have a set and need some plain ordinary ones as they are NOT standard so will not pass a test in France! This is actually a 92 diesel Espace L/H drive and I am unable even with £1000 of wheels able to get €500 for her which present exchange is around £411??!!
  17. Aye, that is what done it mate! BUT phone was twelve quid from Woolies and a fiver to unlock it! So at the end of the day NOT such a bargain eh?
  18. It is quite simply the GOOD ol' PC Brigade gone COMPLETELY and UTTERLY bonkers!! It actually means..............CONDESCENDING!!!
  19. Now looked at your Fakenham site Kirisute and THAT is what I am after (I think?) something that LOOKS easy to read and very simple to operate I take it was your Remit?? I have my names bagged!! ALL hosted wht HEART with whom I can say NOTHING but good! I will actually need two site BUT the content is VERY similar anyway. One is a Second Hand shop www.renaze53800.com(Depot Vente) in France and a site for my fishing tackle which is www.renaze-peche.com. BOTH will offer for sale items but as opposed to sticking several thousand item I want to put say " I have for sale the following: Fridge under Counter. Freezer under counter. Fridge/freezer all in one unit. A 6 person oak Table. 6 oak chairs. and a couple of UK beds. J'ai pour la vente de ce qui suit: Réfrigérateur sous le comptoir. Congélateur sous le comptoir. Un filet pour garder le poisson dans lequel est de 2.7M à long, 10 € Carp canne de peche 4m de long et un CT de 2.5lbs (! 0,2 kg) de 25 €. OK, OK! French transduction is CRAP!! But you get the drift! It is NOT a sales site but a site which ALSO sells items?
  20. Thanks very much lads for the informational replies and to be brutally honest? Even a site with a content management system would possibly bring me out in Hives!! Photo-shop and Dream-weaver our kid uses to jazz up his Ebay ad's for RARE records etc! As I say I would appreciate ANY help and am willing to pay for the help. I have paid VARIOUS companies probably THOUSANDS over the years anyway!! So why not pay someone who I respect for it instead!! Can I ring you either or both please?? OR PM??
  21. Want to buy some more?? At £1 a pack?? OR say Japanese Bared, barbless spade or eyed at ohs lets say £5 a hundred?? Delivered to ANY UK address?
  22. Is there ANYONE on here who will either build sites and help with maintenance? OR give help to someone who IS looking to learn or can point me in the right direction!! I HAVE built a site or two and although they HAVE been slagged the customers were QUITE happy (So that means I am?)! THE only thing is the ONLY programme I have found I can use is SERIF ones!! they are just like me SO SIMPLE!!! So anyone last time of trying honest!!! Payment by tackle OR pound notes (OR even Euros?)
  23. I aske4d a question of ESET as to WHY this TROJAN did not show up last June when it infected me and what a reply I got?? Basically it seems I have a setting set which sets" Display notification after attack detection" Now seems to me IF this was ticked then it SHOULD have shown me the attack and NOT hidden it? But they are saying it is somehow showing ALL attacks?? BUT it is not showing any?? Double Dutch? OR simply the way I pose the question as the actual help is from Poland I think and so they will maybe transduce all the questions?? I'll ask again I think? BUT that blooming attack is frightening! I KNEW it was false but as I went to use "things" I.E. The internet I was dissalowed the connection?? FREAKY even!!
  24. I had EXACTLY the same happen to me last week!! The Trojan that caused the problem was NOT detected at all??? WHY??? And then of course it seemingly timed out and the silly bloody nasty ensued!! I got rid of it with some malware or other APP. BUT when I did a scan a couple of days ago it FOUND 5 infected files!! ONE was the bloody Trojan which was infected in JUNE 2011!! At least that was the date I got. (System scan just started now!) BUT what I don't think I did was run a FULL system scan and the file/Trojan was on my G drive?? Which is a card drive?? And as I have never used it how the hell did it get on there? In fact I used it two days ago with a different card (It shows actually as 5 different drives? Last REAL drive is an imaginary drive for my AV which is F:) My Drives are C/D/E Which are the C: Drive partitioned to run Win 7/Xp Pro/Linux. I then have e: which is my DVD drive. F: Which is the imaginary drive??. then G/H/I/J/and K: which are the card reader ones and then I have another hard drive set as l: which is a Hitachi one I use to store movies on and another internal drive which I think is m:?? BUT yes it also frightened me to death too! Luckily I have two PC's here and so could get on the net with the Wifes machine as ALL my bits and bobs simply shut down! AV, Internet shared Files all of it! Blooming things they are!!
  25. Sorry IAN!! REALLY sorry!! Bloody good job you saw my silly message before I did eh?
