what weight stones would i need?, i know they come in 20, 40 , 60 and 80 grams, but im unsure about what weight i will need, i will be using line in between the 10 and 15lb mark. any help is appreciated

well really, i havent actually done a proper rig using tubing and stuff, i recently got myself some tubing and bits and bobs to do rigs, it is actually a helicopter rig set i think, are you able to make any other rigs from the tubing and stuff?

really what i mostly use is maggot feeder and the method feeder, but ive stopped using that due to the fact it is harmful to the fish a break in the line occurs. what im really looking for is some ready made rigs which i can attache my lead to and then be on my way lol, but i may give them a try , but im a very impatient person when it comes to being able to do rigs and stuff. i love my fishing and all, but i find rigs challenging. poledark i have plenty and plenty of sharp hooks lol, i never forget my hooks....

im pretty useless at making rigs and not really that good, so i was wondering if there anyone from the uk on this forum that would be willing to sell me some ready made rigs for carp fishing?

ive just purchased numerous flavors of glug dip to mix with my boilies etc.... has anyone else ever use this before? and has it help bring you some good fish?

What kind of results have you had with this rig?. and also ive been told while using this rig to attach your main bait and then attach a pva bag full of goodies to the hook to help attract the carp, is that the general idea when using this rig? thank you

hi, im already starting to buy some supplies for my fishing in april. ive purchased new set of bite alarms, rod pod, drop of indicators, 2 new bait runners and some bait supplies. Also what i have purchased is some helicopter rigs and this will be my 1st time using one of these, so what i want to know is what weight ledgers should i be using? ill be using mainly 15lb line on all my reels.

may just be a loose wire, the same happened to my bite alarm, i dont have a FOX Micron but when i opened my alarm up i noticed the wire wasnt souldered onto the iron properly, so i got a souldering iron for £12 and souldered it back on and it worked perfectly.

i no, im not saying they are, im just saying , we have enough of polish people taking our carp let alone morons like those in the video, who are from england, taking our carp, or just battering them for fun

i have it on good authority that these people will get caught. i took hi resolution screen shots of the pictures in the video of every person . and i have sent them to the Evironment Agency, RSPCA and the authorities. they aint getting away with this, i have enough of illegal polish people coming and fishing on our waters and taking the carp home to eat even though some superstores sell carp for them to eat, but they still insist on catching and eating the carp in man made lakes that people have paid for and brought up through the years to become decent sized fish for us the paying anglers who pay for our licenses and who pay for our club water membership, for us the people who respect the fish we catch by putting them back safely for another angler to catch. no fish deserves that crap in the video. those people will be caught, and should be fitted with a tag so that they can go nowhere near a lake again, if they want to batter a fish like that, then the sad assholes should work at chip shop. i am outraged at it, i dont know how some people dont have a heart, i think the government should pay for on site wardens for all big lakes so that there is sercurity to prevent things like this happening in the future, because with morons like that around there is not going to be a future for carp in an area like that. Or at least CCTV on lakes free of charge by the goverment to prevent this, i know it may sound stupid but we need it on our lakes to help maintain a healthy fish filled lakes around the country. we should really stand up and stake our claim that our lakes need more protecting, we pay our rod licenses, lets at least see the money used on lakes to help prevent further things like that happening. i rest my case.....for now!!!

im hoping the weather warms up to 15 or above in april, dont like it being to cold when im fishing, but i suppose this time ill have my bivvy

im going to take some advice i was given early and try boilie paste on one of my rods when i go fishing in april. but what i want to know is what kind of rig should i use? at this lake i was mainly using maggots with a maggot feeder which worked well, i noticed that when some halibut pellets were thrown into the lake the fish absolutley went nuts for it. is boilie past durable enough to go on a hair rig? also how would i prepare it?, does it go on the hook?, i dont really know to be honest, ive never tryed boilie paste at all so i do not know how to prepare it. any help would be appreciated.

hi again, i know i've moaned on about different carp kits etc...and which is best and so forth, but im thinking of buying a new full kit from argos, because im not the kind of guy that splashes out big time on carp kit. the stuff i already have is ok, but im not fully kitted out with rod carry etc......... so i was thinking of getting this. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/part...EENETS+CARP.htm do you think that this kit would do for a little while as i only fish during april through till spawning then just a little after spawning. give me your honest opinions and also if you could give me links to some decent carp sets if you can.

the place where im going doesnt allowed groundbait or boilies.. so apart from all the obvious baits i can use does anyone have any alternatives, like any home made baits that you've used yourself.. what kind of bait sprays etc... ? any information is appreciated

hey, long time since i posted here, but i was wondering, from your experiences, what has your carp fishing been like during the month of april? ill be fishing at a venue in april but not sure quite what to expect, so i thought id ask you guys what your fishing has been like for carp during the easter month.

it could possibly be..it runs not to far up the road from a kids park i think. im not to sure..if it is, what is it like for salmon? and does it have trout aswell? and are you able to keep what you catch?

some of your may have read my posts on carp fishing as i am quiet a keen carp fisherman, but now i also want to add fly fishing to my fishing exploits. but i havent actually started, now i live in newcastle and i know that there is a salmon river in durham near a roundabout, i know thats probably not enough information for you, but i just dont know what the river is called. can anyone help me with the little info i have given? i know ill probably get sent the link to www.nesa.co.uk but i cant register some how , so any help is a appreciated.
