The boys from Holland recently renewed their Dutch and UK language website Trfishing and even reduced the prices for the medium and large Fast Hook Release. More and more UK fishermen found the way to the website and are helping to make this great product to become a success. We now even supply an English manual with every disgorger. Rob

Newt, a few weeks ago I sent Sonja an email to let her know how we are doing with the Disgorger project but unfortunately I haven't got a reaction back, so I hope everything is okay with her. I will keep trying to contact her and will let you know when i reached her. Rob

A friend and I found the Valley Disgorger a few years ago here in the Netherlands and we were very enthusiastic about it. After a search I ran into Anglersnet and found the name of Allan Taylor. When I tried to contact him I heard from Sonja that he was no longer among us because of a terrible illness. We paid a visit to Sonja and she said it would be very nice if someone would continue what he started and couldn't finish. So we found the maker of the Disgorger and found out that they were not on the market anymore and we were able to buy the rest of the stock. Beginning of this year we drove to London to pick up the Sea Disgorgers to begin with. We only had to have them plated and instead of chrome we now have them shiny galvanized because we believe that is better for a salty environment . Because Disgorger is a word Dutch people will normally not remember easily so we renamed it to Fast Hook Release. We started selling the Disgorger in Holland and now we think we are ready for the British market. Since a few days we have an English translation on our site and we hope we can help the fishermen who never got the chance to get their hands on a Disgorger. At this moment we have a large amount of Sea versions in stock and a limited amount of medium versions. For now we don't have stock of the Mini Match (small version). But in case of urgent need for this one we can always look into it. So if it's allowed, her is our site: TR Fishing and we hope we can make fishing a little nicer and easier for everyone. Hi, I am a Dutch sea fishing fanatic and got in contact with the Valley Disgorger a few years ago. I bought one in a store in Holland. More people that wanted to own one, couldn't find them in any store. I went searching on the net and found some clues on this site. I got in contact with the widow of Alan Taylor, Sonja, and after paying her a visit we bought Alan's little stock. Again searching on the net I found the manufacturer and he told me he was retired and wasn't putting any effort anymore in the Disgorgers. After a very friendly contact with this man and a visit to England a few weeks ago, we bought a nice amount of disgorgers we want to sell her in Holland. I started a little company called TR Fishing together with a friend of mine. We changed the name of the Disgorger to Fast Hook Release because disgorger is a little difficult to pronounce and to remember here in Holland. I was wondering if there is any interests in the Disgorger in England because we can then look in to the possibility to sell to England as well. Our website is in dutch (www.trfishing.nl) but if necessary I want to make an English version and in the future there will be a small forum to post your experiences and questions.
