  1. I am a fan of marker pens, instant colour changes at the flip of a lid (Many many colours to choose from) Perfect for floats and even your feeder rod tip if the occasion ever presents itself !! And they last forever in a tackle box making them pretty cheap in the long run...
  2. I suffer from hooking myself way too much per session Also one of the first things i do when i get to a fishery is wash my hands in the water i am fishing it's almost a *good luck charm* of mine to wash away any homely smells that might taint my bait or something. But on the other hand i am very self concious about eating while fishing, i cover with foil /cling film or a bag etc around my sandwiches or buns and after having a few sores on my hands over the years i am ever careful of covering them up with plasters before fishing...
  3. I have caught a few pike by accident on worms while fishing for bream and for perch so here is another vote for worms Also couldn't you use some imitation live/dead baits or even some stiff paste of some kind in the shape of a fish? I suppose anything is worth a try...
  4. After having a recent sort through my tackle i found i need to replace some things so i thought i would ask around here and a couple of other places first before i decide to buy anything I'm need to replace my waterproofs because the old ones are well beyond nackered, they were only £10 for a 2 peice top and bottoms which have lasted for a good 7 or more years so something to cover up and keep me dry now is a must, Ideally i would like camo but any waterproofs that are 100% Waterproof + Windproof as a bonus will do, If it helps i am 36 waist & 44 chest. Heres the ones i am currently looking at. waterproofs 001 waterproofs 002 waterproofs 003 & waterproofs 004 Second on the list is a new brolly Simple thing really but i need 50inch and (if possible green or black) & as cheap as i can find that is not going to fall to pieces the first time the wind blows! I have just bought an octoplus foot rest off ebay but i need a pole spray bar to go with it and getting one to fit octoplus legs was a slight concern so if anyone could help me with that it would be appreciated, Here is one i have got my eyes on. I asked the seller if it would fit octoplus and they said (yes this should fit Octoplus. Tight lines) but again i thought i would ask around first. Next i would like to replace my current keepnet with 2 of these keepnets from ebay (again) they are a fantastic price but again i thought i would ask here first just in case anybody knows of any better deals etc. Also on the list is a new landing net handle, my old one has seen it's last fish the brass end fell off a few days ago after a good 10+ years of service, It was only a £5 handle from my local tackle shop where i live but it has lasted me well and lets face it i cant really leave home without one. Last but not least if anyone finds my sanity, i would like it back please, My other half says she would like to see me a little more normal? Worth a try i suppose...
  5. I also have a sony ericsson w810i It has a pretty decent camera on board and is great in good light but not so good indoors, pretty much spot on for outdoor & fishing thought. I would imagine the new sony ericsson phones that replace the w810i would be even better although i have not owned any of them (yet)
