I was wondering what effects of the weather has on the ability to catch fish As i went on my local lake on saturday didnt even get a bite could see the fish but they looked very docile the weather was extremely hot i thought this could of been the reason for it Also is going fishing in the rain does this make any difference at all?

Targeting carp also some hide and orf in there Probarly float fishing or maybe method or leger

Just need advice on baiting up how much would you use and would you fish the area while baiting up or leave it to let the fish come into the swim first. what feed would you reccommend attracting fish into a swim any help would be apprciated

yes near ashby excellent advice,thanks am i right in thinking that when you feed the line through a boilie you just put a hair stop and holds it in place?

Just started fishing done a little bit before but nothing serious but me and my bro have been float fishing on a small lake near us for about two weeks. Had a few carp on the float with sweetcorn only 2lb ers but the lake has some real carp monsters in there,so we are going to using boilies this weekend with hair rig etc. have you got any tips on pre-baiting is there a chance you can over feed? Best thing with the lake no one fishies it as its little trek to get to and alot of people use different ponds for accessability also willesley lake is only a couple off miles down the road if anyone has heard of it. So do you think they would take any type of boilie as they are not commercially fished?

Hi Just Taking up fishing,and i have bought some bite alarms am i assuming that the indicators clip on to line 1:do you need these? 2:which are the best ones to use? Many Thanks Mike
