What would I ban? 1. Radios 2. People lifting fish of 2-3 Ib out without a landing net 3. Anglers screaming and swearing to each other 4. Fishing without a disgorger 5. Throwing fish back into the water I fished a small day ticket lake on holiday last week and saw all of the above, plus two adult anglers getting into a full blown punch up over some missing bait. Please someone tell me it isn't always like that in Lincs Chris B

Fatty, I don't know if you count them as 'North', but try the following stretches of the river Ivel in Biggleswade. Back Meadows Park in the Dan Albone car park which is just over the bridge at the Biggleswade North roundabout on the A1. Fishing is the right hand bank upstream to Biggleswade Recreation Ground Biggleswade Common Parking as above. Approx 4250 meters downstream right hand bank to Sandy New Road. Chris B

When the new season starts I aim to give one of my local free waters, the Back meadow on the River Ivel in Biggleswade, a go, over the years I seem to have moved away from the fishing I did years ago on local rivers and canels onto club waters and commercials and feel it is time to have one season without buying a club book. Has anyone fished this stretch, from the old mill down to the bridge near Sainsbury's? I just wondered what was in there and what methods and baits work. Any advice would be appreciated Biggles

Hi, I am up at Wroxham next week and was wondering if anyone has been fishing the Bure recently. I haven't fished that part of the Broads for a few years now, so if anyone has any advice it would be much appreciated. I will be taking feeder, waggler and lure rods and will have access to a boat with an outboard, altough will only get a couple of hours morning and evening. Many thanks in advance Biggles
