what is the lake bed like in eririas park?

whisky flavour boillies? that i gota see or smell rather! lol.i used home made pinnaple boillies,they were really effective.but only tend to use boillies when little fish swarm the swim.saying that ive only ever used 3 diffrent flavours.pinneaple,tutti frutti & crustation.

Well unlike den i am not fussed about tents,domes,or bivvys.surrounding the lakes and ponds you can fish from a caravan for all i care.Personaly the only thing i hate is people that dont respect the countryside around us.However i am very very gratefull for the amount of choice we have.

Nice pike mate!What was your catching method?............I wouldnt worry too much,aslong as you are comfortable and you feel the fish is handled correctly then enjoy the fish you are cathing! You could post a picture that looks absuloutly perfect,and someone,somewhere would still critisize

j.iddon there should be more pepole like you out there or should i say us! i have a bedy whippet shes getting on for 8 now but she is 3/4 whippet 1/4 beddlington is yours more bedlington?anyway they are cracking little dogs brilliant noses & really nippy for lamping!i should do more with her really while i can,but i do alot of hawking aswell as fishing and basicly there aint enough hours in the day!me and my dad fly to female harris hawks so i only have the 1 ferret now as i have not long moved and stuck for space!one thing i like about hawking is the ammount of endless quarry they catch!duck,pheasant even hares make a change from eating rabbit.lol.na but i cant wait to do a bit this winter.funnily enough i have just got some new permision which is full of pheasant & rabbit ideal for the dog as there is a farm near by with chickens so ill be reluctant to fly there.any way its nice to see some out there doing abit and espesialy with a bedy whippet,like i say top little dogs.and i know she'll do you proud..........next i come on here ill send some pics of (tag)my bedlingtonx ........................youve made my day tight lines & happy hunting

i certainly will rich hopefully ill fish it in the next couple of weeks thanks alot for the advice and ill let you know how it goes. . .

pole fishing in my eyes seems to much hard work i know its highly productive but all that faffing about each time you catch or have to re-bait your hook!i much preffer a rod n reeli think you can play the fish better!!! however for accuracy poles probably win! I could get stung to buggery trying to stalk a carp.but with the poles that are out now you can fish from the other side of the lake!

well goose you dont have to buy any camo gear.BUT TO ME FISHING IS A COUNTRY PURSUIT & IT MAKES SENSE TO BLEND IN!

well rabbit he must care a bit for him to try it out again!however to me trout fishing is more like hunting than course fishing!I love to spend time on tiny streams trying to catch brook trout thats right (TRYING) a1lb brook trout is a speciemen & are really hard to catch.BUT i have to say there is nothing more i like best than having a 10lb+ carp on the end of my rod,especialy if i have been waitng most of the day for it to bite!!!

Well i think i take just enough gear! I hate seeing anglers taking masses of stuff! I only take what i know i will use eg:rods,tackle,bait,net,bivvy,bed & food! I think theres been about 2 times i havent even took a bivvy or umbrella!it depends on the weather & the location!...........(WATER PURIFIER) never heard that but sounds like a cracking idea! So do you actually use the pond water?......WOW U LEAN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY!
