  1. Great wishes from France Happy new year all !
  2. Hi Andy Thank' s I' m living in Normandy , in Deauville and have english fishermen good friends here.
  3. Sorry for my english ! This an easy method for tying cage feeders. You need: Wire mesh 6 mm ( in France we call it “ bird wire mesh “ ) A piece of wood to give the form to the cage. A piece of bin liner strap and a big needle to close the frame ( oversewed ) Power gum A little plastic pearl and plastic tube. A long bait needle A swivel. Flat leads ( we call them coffin leads !!!) and wire. 10, 15, 20 , 30, 40 , 50 and 60 grams. So, that’ s all. I hope the pictures will be explicit enough. Painting ….optionnal of course. Make a double knot on the power gum. . Really very easy to ty. Un bonjour de la France !
  4. I' m sorry . I forgot the picture of the floats tied. A straight waggler and a sliding one.
  5. I use with total satisfaction the Kevin Nash zero tolerance jacket. The best jacket i ever tried.
  6. When I fish with a sliding waggler, my rig is : A few little slip shots near the hooklength and a main mass (4 to 15 g ). This mass can be made with big slip shots but when you change their position , it weakens the line. I prefer using ball weights 1 or 2 g ( “ lead pearls” we say in France ) . To fasten them I have a knack: I use a 1.5 cm carbon , a peace of silicon tube and a little rubber bead. I make a half loop around the carbon and cover it with the silicon. You can see the following on the pictures. A little soft slip shot is pinched a the top of the rig to hold the lead pearls. Easy to move. The rig is strong and don' t move at all when you cast! PS: sorry for my english but when I was young, I prefered go fishing instead learning my lessons!
  7. In France we call this plant " herbe a pampa " ...pampa grass. It ' s very common . The boatnical name is Cortaderia selleana. With the stems yan can make very good wagglers after painting and varnishing. December is the best month for the harvest.
