Hi there I am planning to fish the Avon at Stratford possibly the stretch behind the leisure centre or the area facing the centre. Are these stretches day ticket or club waters and does anyone have any tips/knowledge or experience that may help. Cheers

I am finally buying myself a centrepin and will probably get a Fred Crouch aerial. I fish a small stretch of river which is approx 15-20 ft wide and between 5-8ft deep with a slow to medium paced current and I normally useb a 6x6 stick float fished about one rod length out. I can't decide which would be the best size to use either a narrow or wide reel so I would greatly appreciate any opinions, critism or pluses for either type. Cheers Mantequilla
