  1. yeah you are 100% right there mate . i mean if they saying its defleating the fish stocks they should pull back on commercial fishing only let one boat out of a port or something i dont think a couple of anglers on the shore line is even affecting the fish stocks really do you, its all complete bol***ks trying to get money out of us for fishing. it gets me mad this government i worked in the army for 5 years and all they do is f**k you over take your money spit you out. I WILL NEVER PAY A ROD LICENSE FOR THE SEA NEVER!
  2. hello everyone. i am just interested in peoples views on the sea angling license, and if they think its a good idea. one of my personal views is that there should be no license for sea angling because the matter of fact is if they want to bring in a sea license they should bring licenses in for people swimming in the sea or sailing or sitting on the beach just because we want to catch a few fish for a couple of hours a week they should be made to take pay for a license to swim or sun bath or take wind sufing boats out, i think the same should apply for the course angler why should they be made to pay for a license aswell, i personally think thats its the goverment trying to con more money out of people doing something they enjoy! but one aspect i think should be talked about is that every angler should have NFSA (national federation of sea anglers) insurance i think its a good idea because of the damage some people cause when fishing, mainley useless anglers but hey they doing what they enjoy and they have to cough up the money for thier accident when people simply cant afford it, i pay £25 a year for my NFSA and i am covered up to £5 million worth of damage. i think thats a sencible idea but its each to thier own aint it. any comments all welcome thank you. with regards mike

  10. a diawa 13 foot beachcaster and an abu 6500ct mag any good
  11. yeah i understand that but this was a really poor effort for a reel it was only a fairly cheap reel we got the rod with it and the rod' well i can fart on the thing and it knocks as if its got a great white shark taking the bait ha.' its a `14" beach rod but its not that expensive its there first rod so we cant complain. i use a daiwa st13m beach rod with a abu 6500ct mag cracking set up. i dont think will be buying the fladen lower tackle range again. cheers pal tight lines
  12. hi please dont laugh at this question but would i be able to use my sea rod and reel for carp fishing and pike fishing in lakes and rivers or would that be pointless i have never fished for any course carp fish before but want to get into it cant afford to buy new tackle as the wife has just fell pregnant with our first and we SKINT hahaha cheers fellas
  13. hi billy the fladen tackle in my oppinion is pretty poor. i bought my kid brother a fladen reel and it broke and the arm snapped on it on our second session i dont know about the rods but if its anything like the reel avoid it its not worth the money and frustration and time. tight lines
  14. hello i am a sea angler and i want to start course fishing could any of you point me in the right direction as in tackle and tips and bait. what are the best course fish to catch and can you catch much in a canal. also i here you have to have a license and how much and where can i purchase one. i would like to get into it because i am sick of catching the same old fish and course fishing seems to be quite more relaxing as sea fishing you are mainly on your feet all the time. whats a decent enough cheap rod and reel, hooks and sizes leader strenth and line strenth. hope you reply soon many thanks mike thompson

hi hello everyone i am looking forward to the summer for catching bass, what time of year do they start showing and whats the best method and bait or lure to catch the bass i used to go fishing behind our local powerstation at the outflow pipe when i was just a lad with a shrimp rig to catch school bass and mullett but i want to catch better than an 18-22 inch bass which by the way i did throw back. and what sort of tide and ground and surf to fish for them. any hints on decent tackle wont go a miss cheers fellas
