  1. Hi Newt....Dr Roses's paper is thought provoking. He acknowledges that fish excrete stress hormones when caught...this is of but little importance in US,where, say,a carp will experience this very rarely. However,in UK with highly pressurised waters....different scenario... Be Lucky! ....miasma..

  22. The Conservative Party leader Ian Duncan Smith, his wife Betsy and their three children will all be attending CA march on September 22nd. Mr Duncan Smith told the Times; "Its a matter of freedom. It does not matter that I dont hunt" A future Conservative government, led by him, would repeal this "absurd" law. This suggests that he considers the present battle already lost and since it is a matter of freedom, then Angling can feel reassured. Do you feel assured ?
  23. Hi Newt....Fox report suggests that half of US States currently operate an angling ban within parks... Is this true?.. Glad to see latest PETA lunacy has been dashed and yes, I thoroughly agree "CA is known for embracing strange ideas" .......miasma..
  24. ....NAA may be slow to exploit the internet, but a glance at Countryside Alliance's website shows they are about to embrace it .......miasma
