  1. Hi I am thinking of buying one of these boats(Linder440fisherman 14foot aluminum boat) for loch fishing. Any info on this matter would be more than welcome
  2. I have registered my boat on this loch for the season to fish for pike and bream. Do you get pestered by the crayfish? Whats the best approach? Do you have to pop-up your deadbaits? Will the crayfish take sweetcorn? Any info on this matter will be more than welcome. THANKS.........
  3. How did the American signal crayfish end up in the Loch Ken /Dee river system?
  4. I have 2 bedchairs for sale in the West Lothian area. BADGER STRETCHER 3 LEG in great condition £30.. FOX STALKER 2 LEG hardly used and still looks new £50.. THANKS.
  5. Hello There I use my 12 foot boat sometimes to ferry our gear across Lochrutton in Dumfries for a weekends fishing for pike and bream. On one occasion me and my son where packing up when I noticed that our boat had drifted about 50 yards out into the loch.Oh no I cried , I stripped down to my brown and cream Y fronts and started giving it the oh, ah, eh, oh as I waded into the frozen loch. I got to the boat and struggled in only to find that the oars where on the bank. By this time I was about 300yards from the bank, me drifting in a boat with only my pants on. Lucky they where another boat on the water who came to my rescue. And to add to my embarassment they took great pleasure parading me around the loch before they took me to shore.
  6. Hello There Thanks for all your comments chaps but I was hoping someone who owned one could give me an idea of what there like. Ive done my homework and I understand that there made with this new aqua type breathable material which is unaffected by heat or cold. They say it can be erected in 20 seconds, pram hood constuction which they say is very stable. Fishing up here in Scotland through the weekends on some of our lochs can be scary, the weather can be relentless at times. I currently own a fox continental which takes 20 mins to erect its a decent bivvy but it took a battering last year, I spent the hole night holding onto the tent poles with rain dripping into the porch area during a gale. One of my maggot tubs was left open resulting in maggots climbing all up the walls of the bivvy. I spent £300 on this bivvy and its only 3years old so I am not rushing in to buy again because it is a top brand. So if this bivvy is as good as the makers say it is , it will be worth its weight in gold. Cmon they must be someone out there who owns one.
  7. HELLO THERE I am thinking of buying one of these bivvies (trakker armo mk11, 2man ). Does anyone out there own one? are they worth there £600 with extras price tag. Any info on this matter will be most welcome.
