The Furnace complex refered to in Phone's post may refer to the complex in West Sussex http://www.fisheries.co.uk/furnacelakes/ . This appears to be a day ticket water. There appears to be still only one lake at Horsmonden from google maps. I last fished at Furnace Pond at Horsmonden in the mid eighties when the record Perch was caught there. Thanks for your reply Simon. I went to Decoy on Friday and fished Willows. It was not a bad day ( apart from the hail storm). I managed to catch 5 carp to just over 3lb, 3 Chub just under 1lb and numerous roach and gudgeon. I hope to give it another try soon now I know a bit more about the place. Regards John

I am thinking of fishing Decoy Lakes on Friday 11th April. I have only been there once before which was over a year ago. Can anyone tell me how it fishes this time of year and which of the lakes would be best to catch a mixed bag of fish? I am not particularly after big carp. Any tips on current best methods would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
