  1. Hiya Solaris - I'd say the 2 best marks in Plymouth to fish with kids, or to have kids with you when you fish, are Mountbatten Breakwater in Plymstock and West Hoe Pier on the Plymouth Foreshore (near the waterfront bar). Both these places have railings/chains in place and its a level tarmaced platform. The bonus for you is that you will still catch fish there (although fish are generally small) There are several other marks that may be of interest on the plymouth side of the Tamar (which is fishing its socks off at the mo) which include the floating pontoon at devonport and the deep, deep water off the Mutton Cove T-bar (near the mount wise swimming pools). The added bonus of these is the close, free parking tight lines
  2. Hey Jack, just checking what was going on elsewhere on tinterweb and I came across this post of yours! lol I'm guessing you already know this, or may have seen this page, but incase you haven't here's a page on SWSF that has a shed load of marks plotted (with guides) for not only Plymouth but for south devon. just click on any of the the little yellow diamonds on the map in the rough area you want to fish and itll take you to the guides. tight lines buddy!
  3. I know I'm a bit late in the game for this post, but for the benefit of anyone else reading this with the same question - i'm building up an overview of shore fishing marks at the moment and have just completed most of the plymouth ones. you can have a read under shore fishing guides - the handiest one is the plymouth overview, and you can take it from there if you're still interested They're at southwestseafishing.co.uk
